When fingerprints of deceased persons are difficult to obtain due to water impression, desiccation, or other postmortem causes, they can often be obtained by cleaning, softening, and building up the fingertips with chemical agents. In many cases after cleaning, the fingertips can be successfully reshaped by injecting Tissue Builder into the bulb of the fingertip. Available in regular formula for use when the tips are in good condition, and firming formula when fingertips are soft.
