Filters and Alternative Light Source Systems (ALS)
The Peca Filter Kit contains nine forensic filters and three step rings and includes the most common yet hard to find set of filters that most forensic specialists use during investigations.  The filters are high quality glass and are sized for 67mm filter threaded lenses.  Most common investigative macro lenses have thread mounts between 55mm and 67mm.  This special kit contains step rings that can be used to accommodate lens filter thread mounts of 55mm, 58mm (Fujifilm IS-1), 62mm, and 67mm (Zeiss 50mm Macro).

Photographic Barrier Filters 52mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm Precise Forensic Light Source and Crime Scene photography many times requires the proper filters for your camera. Our 52mm through 72mm UV Clear, Orange, Red, Yellow and Circular Polarizing filters are sold seperately.
Clear UV Filters - Ideal as a permanent lens protector, this filter also reduces haze in outdoor photography.
Orange, Red & Yellow Filters - Commonly used as a barrier filter with a Forensic Light Source.
Circular Polarizing Filters - Once mounted, this filter may be roated in it's bezel to reduce glare, removing unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. It also will enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer, with better contrast. > More

Applications for these filters can range from questioned documents suspected of alterations, blood splatter, seminal fluids, gun shot residue and other latent evidence that’s invisible to the naked eye, but can be revealed using IR or UV light.  > More
