LiftSP System, FISH, & BIG FISH

A fast, stand alone, easy to use system designed specifically for latent fingerprint examiners. LiftSP produces optimal high quality photographs from crime scene finger prints. The prints are captured using a modified flatbed scanner which then quickly displays the image on a touch screen PC. FISH (Forensic Information Scanning Hub) is a digital transport/ imaging system for crime scene evidence submissions. FISH is designed to send crime scene marks to head office quickly and efficiently. FISH consists of a number of satellite terminals that can be office based or mobile at the actual scene. They transmit to a file receiving FISH Bureau station by either e-mail, FTP, IP Pier to Pier, or VPN/LAN (Local area network). FISH processes fingerprints, shoe marks, crime scene photographs and known elimination forms. All case information entered into the system is permanently retained in the metadata of the image file. > More
