The WS-6 Downflow Workstation is a stand alone, ductless unit that protects workers from powders or fumes. This unit’s open design allows for closed inspection of samples while maintaining a high level of operator protection. Particles or fumes are drawn downward through the stainless steel work surface and contaminants are removed by a series of filters. After the fumes or powders are filtered, the clean air is returned to the room. Design features include an aluminum frame with a powder coated exterior for corrosion resistance. The work surface is stainless steel and is easily removable for routine cleaning. A pressure switch for indicating when filters need replacement is standard. HEPA filters are recommended if your application includes powders or particles. If you are working with chemicals, we offer a variety of carbon filter options. It’s inward flow protects the operator and contains hazardous

proper filter. Smaller than most hoods, the design requires
less space than most ventilated enclosures. The XVS features
4” thick tempered safety glass front sash, sides and top offering
excellent visibility, light and protection. Glass provides
better fire, scratch, and corrosion resistance than acrylic. Requires

Aura models are the most well constructed and durable ductless hoods on the market today. The base section is made from high
grade aluminum with an acrylic sash and side panels. The head section (fan, filter and microprocessor control housing) is encased
in a sturdy aluminum frame with a powder coated finish. These materials were chosen for both strength and stability. All units
consist of powder coated aluminum head and base section with fluorescent lighting, chemically resistant acrylic panels, removable
fiberglass spill tray and an electrostatically charged pre-filter. ”L” models are available for customers who do not require the
added features of the Advanced Filter Monitoring System. The ”L” model features visual alarms to notify users of low airflow conditions.
Each unit is equipped with a test port for manual filter saturation testing. Gas detection tubes and pumps are available
