Acid Fuchsin, also known as Hungarian Red, is an excellent stain for the enhancement of bloody fingerprints or footwear impressions. Enhanced impression can be made to fluoresce with an alternate light source or laser. Acid Yellow 7 stain is one of the newer and more effective fluorescent stains used to enhance bloody footwear and fingerprint impressions on nonporous surfaces.
