Basic 47 (4’) and 70 (6’) fume hoods are ideal for general chemical requirements and work well for individual workstations. These hoods are factory furnished with 3/16” thick tempered safety glass counterbalanced sash. The interior and exterior are constructed of a glacier white, epoxy coated, 16 gauge steel. The right side fixture panel is prepared to accept up to three service fixtures, one electrical receptacle, and a guardian air monitor. The FilterMate Portable Exhauster, an accessory for the XVS Ductless Workstation, uses a HEPA filter, carbon filter, or combination of both to remove hazardous powders, particulates, vapors, or noxious odors from the exhaust air stream, returning filtered air to the environment. All models feature a compact corrosion resistant housing epoxy coated with rubber feet. Variable speed control with non sparking motorized impeller. Rear mounted auxiliary electrical outlet that may be connected to an airflow monitor, a light kit, or other user supplied accessories. Inherently safe design the FilterMate features an extremely quiet operation and noise pressure. Each FilterMate provides up to 100 FPM face velocity. Designed for Latent Print Applications Fume Adsorbers use activated carbon to adsorb organic orders and noxious vapors. Solvent vapors are trapped in the capillary like channels of the carbon filter while clean air is circulated into the laboratory. Fume adsorbers require no ducting to the outside and are completely portable. Fume Adsorbers fit easily on existing bench tops and are available in two sizes. The Protector XVS Ductless Ventilation Workstation is an economical low profile light duty hood suited for many applications. It’s inward flow protects the operator and contains hazardous or noxious fumes, vapors, and powders. Smaller than most hoods, the low profile design requires less space than most ventilated enclosures. The XVS features 3/16” thick tempered safety glass front sash, sides and top offering excellent visibility, light and protection. Glass provides better fire, scratch, and corrosion resistance than acrylic. Requires exhaust transition adapter, and FilterMate portable exhauster. Custom models available upon request. The one-piece work surface is molded from a special formulation of epoxy resins that is resistant to chemicals. It is dished and contoured to conform to the interior liner of the XVS Workstation to contain spills. The 5’ and 6’ work surfaces are stainless steel. > More

The Purifi er series biological safety cabinet was designed to provide a safe and effective work area for agents that require Biosafety level containment. The Purifier Biological Safety cabinet features include a vertical rising sash that can be completely closed while not in use, eye level ADA compliant Minihelic pressure gauge, factory installed UV lamp, and a three year warranty on parts and service. These cabinets are available with 8” or 10” sash openings and have a nominal inflow velocity of 105 feet per minute. Venting kits and exhaust fans available upon request.
