In the past, crime scene investigators and reconstructionists have only been able to photograph glass that was damaged, shot out, or broken by the suspect. This new product is an inexpensive, easy to use, durable, safe, and a portable way of recovering and stabilizing broken glass evidence. Crime scene investigators have tried all sorts of methods to recover broken glass evidence from the crime scene. BGS™ is a break through technology which allows the CSI to solidify glass evidence whether it is from a vehicle, storefront, home or just about any place glass needs to be recovered.

BGS™ consists of two components, Polyurethane Isocyanate compressed gas, and Polyurethane Polyol compressed gas and also contains Amines and Fluorocarbons. The two parts come in separate pressurized containers, when sprayed on, produces a yellowish foam which is extremely sticky and hardens very quickly to a 2” layer of foam. The kits do not contain any Urea Formaldehyde. BGS™ can be used to recover bullet holes, Latent Prints, DNA, and has may other applications. Operation is quick and simple: Insert the BGS™ cans into the housing, and screw into place. Insert the spray nozzle into the dispenser opening. Spray the foam onto the broken glass. BGS™ is available in two convenient sizes for just about any size job.

“We have successfully tested BGS™ on several crime scenes where broken glass played an important role in the reconstruction of the incident”
