Many instructors would like to include field testing of a suspected drug material during student processing of simulated crime scenes. This kit includes a bottle of simulated drug material called “Space Dust”, a sample of a non-reactive powder to provide a negative sample, and 10 fi eld drug test kits similar to those used by law enforcement. This will allow the opportunity for students to find the suspected drug, perform a presumptive field test using standard procedures, package evidence items for submission to the lab, and include the result of testing in their crime scene report.
